Calorimetry

Calorimetry is known as the universal detector as it can clearly determine the progress and kinetics of any transition as the heat is evolved. Setaram first commercialized the unique Tian-Calvet systems to enable to give you a high precision but also the flexibility that allows you to study your material under true life conditions – this includes sample pressures up to 1000 bar, temperatures down to -196 °C, but also conditions such as mixing and simultaneous techniques such as XRD, PCT and BET measurements.

One of the most powerful yet flexible calorimeters available, with the ability to replicate almost any experimental condition. With its wide range of cells the C80 offers the ability to simulate almost any process condition, including the ability to perform batch and semi-batch reactions under atmospheric pressure, applied pressure or for reactions that generate pressure. In temperature scanning mode the C80 accurately assesses chemical runaways.
