DSC - Differential Scanning Calorimetry

DSC is the most widely used thermal analysis technique and we present you with a series of different systems each designed and developed for different application ranges. Perhaps your laboratory requires a robust, low running costs system or perhaps a system capable of high pressures, or even a system capable of high temperatures. Each of these demands is different and so we offer you a range of solutions that are designed to meet your specific demands and applications.

A highly robust and simple to use DSC designed for routine applications within busy laboratories with a wide range of applications and users. The system can be setup and running in only a few minutes and in the case of a damaged sensor can be repaired on site by the user in less than 30 minutes. No other DSC offers such value for money, and such low running costs.

A robust, easy to use high temperature TGA & STA system with plug and play detectors that can be used for high precision TGA, TG-DTA and TG-DSC measurements up to 1600 °C for the precise characterization of high temperature materials. The optional Cp rod, together with the high precision software also allows for the determination of Cp with accuracy of 2% for the fi rst time on a routine instrument.

SENSYS EVO DSC is offering a Calvet 3D DSC sensor this system allows for unmatched resolution and also sample sizes of up to 270 μl. This allows for a wide range of heterogeneous samples to be measured, Cp determined to 1% accuracy and crucibles to be engineered with unique possibilities including flow through reaction and high pressure. The unique Calvet 3D sensor allows for the sample only and not the detector to be pressurized. As such different gases, pressures and mixtures can be applied to your sample during an experiment, monitoring up to 400 bar.
