Borate Fusion

Borate fusion is a sample preparation technique to prepare glass disks (beads) for XRF, or to prepare peroxide or pyrosulphate fusions. An optional solution stirrer provides for AA, ICP and wet chemistry solution making ability.

With our automated electric fluxers, doing fusions becomes quick, easy and efficient, improving your lab productivity.

Grinding - Milling

Small high-energy ball mill that accommodates sample sizes ranging from 0.2 - 1.5 grams. Ideal for grinding and pulverizing brittle samples, slurry grinding, and mixing powders.

The latest advance in cryogenic grinding. Our 6970EFM Freezer/Mill® is a large capacity, high-throughput, cryogenic mill that accommodates samples from 0.5 - 200 grams (0.6 - 100 mL). It is specifically designed to grind through the toughest samples and temperature sensitive samples through the use of magnetically-driven impactors.

The 6970EFM is available in single and dual grinding chamber models for increased sample throughput. Chambers can be programmed for independent operation and different protocols, providing flexibility and speed.
