Sani-Tech® Short Radius SIB® Sweep 90° Elbows

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics' line of Sani-Tech® high purity non-metallic piping and components now includes sweep elbows. Sani-Pro® short radius SIB® sweep 90° elbows save space without sacrificing flow. Their internal sweep design provides flow characteristics superior to sharp elbows, and their smaller footprint makes them ideal for skid-based piping systems and use points as well as directional changes in distribution loops. SIB® (Smooth Inner Bore) technology ensures a smooth inner surface that eliminates entrapment areas, reducing the risk of biofilm formation and flow restrictions and requiring minimal maintenance. The elbows can be joined utilizing the SIB® 2 fusion welding tool; high speed beadless fusion creates a smooth interior surface at the elbow-tubing weld, with no beads, crevices or intrusions into the fluid stream. This user-friendly fabrication equipment is backed by factory-direct training and certification to ensure trouble-free installation. Sani-Tech® piping and components have inner dimensions based on ASME BPE standards so there are no dimensional changes when mating Sani-Tech® components to stainless steel components.
